1980s Village Man's Road To Collective Prosperity

In early 1980s Northern Tupo Village, villager Chen Gensheng spends all his savings to save an old yellow dog from slaughter and gets fired by his employer Liu Xingwang.The spiritual dog repays him by leading him to buried gold and changing his fate. Local tyrant Liu Xingwang seizes the land to steal the gold, but suffers divine punishment—the gold turns into dog dung, ruining his fortune.Sticking to kindness and integrity, Chen develops farmland, irrigation and a collective pig farm for the village. He overcomes repeated sabotage and fraud, and finally leads all villagers to shared prosperity.
