Mrs. Valenti's Countdown

"Five years after marrying Chicago mob boss Marco Valenti, everyone knew he loved me more than his own life. He even tattooed a violin on his chest for me—a symbol of his un-wavering loyalty. Until I received a video of his infidelity from his mistress. A blonde woman lay naked in his arms, her skin marked with the marks of passion. "Marco said you're just a figurehead, Selena, it's time to step down." I didn't reply. I simply made a phone call. "I want a new identity. The name is Lena. And a plane ticket to leave."
