When I Meet the Moon

"When I Meet the Moon" is an urban romance drama series adapted from Zhu Yi's novel "Folding Moon (Zhe Yue Liang)," the final installment of the Nanwu Trilogy. It stars Lin Yi ("Ski Into Love," "Love Scenery") and Lu Yuxiao ("Love Between Lines, "My Journey to You," "Blossoms in Adversity"), along with Lu Yangyang and Li Geyang. The socially anxious Yun Li (played by Lu Yuxiao) applies for a postgraduate program in Nanwu to prove her independence to her father. A day before the semester begins, she is invited to a local virtual reality (VR) center as a video creator. There, she reunites with Fu Shize (played by Lin Yi), the genius and her high school crush. She gradually opens up, and, with the help of others, goes all out to court her dream man, winning him over with her warmth and radiance. However, amid the loving moments, their differing perspectives eventually lead to a breakup. When she goes abroad, his deeply suppressed trauma is brought to the forefront. To win her back, he gets back on his feet, leading his team to new heights in scientific research.
