
"OOPS! I'M IN JAIL" is an overseas workplace comedy directed by Kao Pingchuan, winner of the Golden Bell Award for Television in Taiwan. But once inside, he realizes that his coworkers are all in an even worse state. These “rookie employees” endure absurd and shocking training every day: getting beaten while controlling riots, being sprayed with filth during body searches, and dealing with inmates attempting suicide. What seems like a prestigious job is actually full of bowing, forced smiles, and a status lower than that of the prisoners themselves. In this suffocating and rigid system, the prison mentor Jiang Yijie (played by Liu Yihao) constantly monitors the “special relationship” between A-Yao and Chihuahua, making each day feel like a life-or-death ordeal.\N\NCompared to the inmates, the corporate slaves feel more like prisoners. Yet, amidst the absurdity and cruelty of daily life, A-Yao and his colleagues gradually develop teamwork, friendship, and even love.
