Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars

He Xiangyong, a young man caught in setbacks and self-denial, made a wish to "disappear" according to the local legend on Xingpu Island that "if you throw a stone into the sea, your wish may come true." However, the next day, he was reborn as "Zhong Xiaoyou." No one recognized him anymore, but only his best friend, Wanzhe, noticed something strange and accompanied him to face life again. Life in the new identity gradually brought warmth, and Xiaoyou also reconnected with his father and the people around him. However, Haowei, an old friend and his secret crush, returned to the island with pain and unexpectedly felt a familiar attraction from Xiaoyou. At the same time, on a shooting star night, Wanzhe made a wish for "a passionate love," which made the fisherman Xiaohai pursue him ardently, leaving him wandering between sweetness and confusion. As the emotional entanglement deepened, the connection between Haowei and Xiaoyou became painful and contradictory due to the crack in identity; the relationship between Wanzhe and Xiaohai also wavered between true feelings and wishes. When the shooting star streaked across the night sky again, the truth, confessions, and choices were approaching. Everyone had to face the price behind the wishes — blurred memories, fading identities, and love being put to the test. In the end, they had to make an irreversible decision between seizing the miracle and accepting the truth, facing the final turning point of fate.
