The Time Debt

Adriano, the feared mafia don, bears a blood curse that lets him freeze time. But every time he activates this power, he permanently loses a precious memory of his loved ones, recorded one by one in a ledger. He has used the ability 999 times to protect his lover Ella, erasing family, friends and mentors bit by bit. When Ella suffers life-threatening complications during childbirth, Adriano faces an irreversible choice: stop time to save her and erase her from his mind forever, or abandon his curse and risk losing her. He ultimately chooses to let time flow naturally. Miraculously Ella and their newborn son survive. Without his time-freezing power, Adriano rebuilds his mafia territory relying on strategy and protection for his family, lays down the ledger of lost memories, and cherishes the present life with Ella and their child.
