Time's Betrayal

Eleanor is in good health, but her beloved mother is critically ill and undergoing a radical cryonics experiment. On the eve of her fifth wedding anniversary, she discovers that her husband, Arthur, is not only having an affair with a woman named Chloe but was even absent during her mother's life-saving emergency—choosing instead to be with his mistress.
