Bride of Dark Fire

On the day Lena is meant to marry Noah, their wedding is torn apart by Holy Fire knights from the Upper City. Noah is fatally poisoned, and Lena is forced to sign an abyssal marriage pact to keep him alive for seven days. Thrown into a brutal arena as the “Abyss Bride,” she must fight monsters, knights, and failed brides while the black flame inside her slowly consumes her body and humanity. But Lena refuses to become the weapon the nobles want. As Noah is transformed into a Holy Fire knight and turned against her, she clings to their memories, rescues controlled soldiers, frees imprisoned children, and uncovers the truth behind the city’s sacred power. Guided and challenged by the former Abyss Bride, Seraphine, Lena descends into the Abyss, claims the crown, and returns not as a victim—but as a queen. Together with Noah, Seraphine, and the people once used as experiments, Lena burns down the arena, breaks the Holy Fire engine, and ends the nobles’ rule. Yet when the sky splits open and an ancient power awakens, her wedding becomes a coronation—and the real war begins.
