Fake Priest

A fugitive murderer Cain flees to an isolated island monastery amid a storm, killing the kind real priest Father Matthew and stealing his robe to pose as a holy clergyman. Trapped with no escape routes, the nuns Eve, Martha, Lucy, Hannah and young Claire endure his endless abuse, drugging and threats. After discovering the real priest’s corpse hidden in the cellar and witnessing sixteen-year-old Claire’s brutal death at Cain’s hands, the traumatized women forge a blood oath to overthrow the fake priest. They secretly brew slow poison, pretend obedience to lower Cain’s guard, and endure countless dangers as they plot revenge. After a deadly struggle, the four nuns jointly stab Cain and dump his body into the sea. They bury Father Matthew and Claire side by side, burn Cain’s tainted robe, and finally stand under the sunrise, vowing to guard the pure island in memory of the victims.
