Kane, a mechanical engineer in Los Angeles, gains superpowers after accidentally fusing with the self-made Neon Core. Alex Thorne, CEO of Sky Tech, controls mechas to create a city-wide crisis in order to seize the core and achieve human evolution. With the help of his childhood friend Jimmy and Dr. Eve, Kane uncovers the truth that he is an experiment survivor, overcomes his power rampage, defeats the paranoid villain, protects the city, and becomes an ordinary yet great hidden hero.
