Valeria, the Vampire Queen, was betrayed by her lover Lucien and her sister Seraphina, stripped of her Blood Crown, powers and throne, and imprisoned in a sunlit cage for exile. On the verge of death, she was rescued by Adrian, a vampire hunter, and forced to forge a forbidden blood pact with her enemy. Reclaiming her strength from the hunter's blood, she staged a powerful comeback to the Eternal Night Court, dragging her former lover and own sister onto the trial platform of the Blood Crown.
