Prison of the Wind follows Arthur, a glider pilot who crashes onto floating sky islands and meets Phoenix, a winged sky dweller guarding this realm. Phoenix gives him magical fruit that sprouts lightweight wings matching the island’s winds, forming a gentle spiritual bond linking their senses and feelings. They settle in a crystal nest hidden among cliffs. At first, they keep a distant, unfamiliar distance, yet Phoenix tenderly looks after Arthur, guiding him to sense wind currents and master aerial balance. Gradually, Arthur perceives the quiet loneliness lingering inside Phoenix after ages of solitude. A translucent ancestral spirit reveals ancient secrets of the floating land. Day and night they stay side by side, opening up to each other and learning each other’s ways of thinking. Through cliff flight training, quiet cave nights and heartfelt midnight talks, their estrangement fades away, and sincere companionship blooms. They stand together to face the island’s age-old secrets, weaving a warm, mutually dependent bond amid misty cloud seas and glowing crystal grottos.
