She Chose the Dragon

Princess Isolde, eldest princess of the Kingdom of Viridia, has been madly in love with Leon, Captain of the Temple Knights, for a decade—until she catches him having an affair with her younger sister Irene. Crushed and heartbroken, she volunteers to take Irene’s place as the sacrifice to the vicious dragon. Upon arriving at the dragon’s territory, she discovers that Karun, the thousand-year-old dragon rumored to be cruel and tyrannical, is actually lonely and gentle. As they spend every day together, they heal each other’s wounds and fall in love across their races. Leon comes to his senses and chases after her to the dragon’s land, only to be firmly rejected. Irene’s malicious schemes are eventually exposed, and she receives her punishment. Letting go of her painful past entirely, Isolde stays with Karun, bringing new life to the dragon lands that have lain desolate for a thousand years.
