Beryl of Whitlock Manor

The declining Whitlock Manor is mired in despair: the master lies comatose, his two sons severely injured, and the family drowning in debt. On a snowy day, mistress Eleanor adopts orphan Beryl, a little girl gifted with the power to spot hidden treasures, over her eldest son’s objections. With her special gift, Beryl unearths century-old bourbon to feed the family, finds rare herb to cure her poisoned second brother, and pays off all debts with gold nuggets. Her innocence and extraordinary gift mend the broken household, making her the family’s precious lucky angel.
