I Choose You Forever

Ethan and Tyler, co-captains of the high school football team, bicker constantly to hide their secret crushes. After a stolen closet kiss in the locker room, Dylan—Tyler’s childhood friend who loves him jealously—sneaks photos of them and leaks them schoolwide. A brutal fight between Tyler and Dylan costs them a match suspension and shatters their lifelong friendship. Plagued by campus gossip and fear of ruining Ethan’s life, Tyler tries to pull away. Firm and sincere, Ethan convinces him to embrace their love openly. They hold hands and kiss before the whole school to confirm their relationship. Though they get into colleges miles apart, they vow to stay together. One year later on Thanksgiving, Tyler travels cross-country to surprise Ethan under golden ginkgo trees, reaffirming his lifelong promise: I choose you forever.
