Her scheming cousin Rosa, eager to please the haughty Caterina Villa, tricks her into drinking and shoves her into the Don's private quarters, hoping he will kill her. But instead of rage, Isabella — bold and drunk — seduces the Don, awakening something he has never felt for a woman. Haunted by a childhood kidnapping that makes him want to kill any woman who touches him, Alessandro is stunned that she alone triggers no violence, only desire. He begins to pursue her relentlessly: protecting her, paying off her mother's medical debts, and helping her win back the design drafts and prize money stolen by Caterina. Though Isabella fears the devil she has provoked, she slowly falls for him. When Caterina has Isabella's mother kidnapped by thugs, Alessandro storms the abandoned building by helicopter and rescues her. Caterina's schemes collapse, and Isabella's talent is finally honored at the awards ceremony. At a family banquet, Elena Vitale proudly introduces Isabella as Alessandro's future bride. Drunk again on champagne offered by noblewomen, Isabella pins the Don down and asks, "Tonight, who is your master?"Alessandro answers with a kiss. The mafia king and the maid find their happily ever after.
