The Mediator's Lost Way

"Here is the shortened version: When reckless hacker Milo Vance steals a single dollar from a powerful mafia family just to mock their security, he comes face-to-face with Asher Falcone — a cold-blooded fixer with an extreme obsession for cleanliness. To save his own life, Milo offers up his brilliant hacking skills, and Asher takes him captive, stripping him of his filthy clothes and locking a tracking bracelet onto his wrist like a collar. As Milo proves his genius by incinerating enemy networks and saving Asher’s empire, Asher’s icy control burns into all-consuming obsession. But when a family betrayal forces Asher to fake Milo’s death and imprison him in a sterile underground bunker for his own protection, the hacker fights back by hacking the bunker’s systems to torment his captor — only to realize he has fallen for the monster. In a final war against the mafia Don, Milo stages a city-wide blackout to rescue Asher from execution, and together they dismantle an empire, donate billions to animal shelters, and crown themselves the new kings of the underworld. Their bloody, obsessive fairy tale ends atop a private Swiss Alp, where the demon fixer marries his hacker bride under the Northern Lights, vowing that Milo will never leave the immaculate cage of his arms."
