The Weasel Spirit's Vow

Grandma saved a pregnant Yellow Weasel. The Weasel gave birth to cubs, including Goldie, and gave Grandma a pearl: "Call 'Saffron' three times for help." Saffron helped Grandma against Pockface Warren and a mountain flood. Saffron also provided a lingzhi mushroom for Goldie's ransom and fought a hawk for a Frost-petal Herb when Grandma fell ill. Grandma healed Saffron. Later, yellow weasels helped Grandma plow. Saffron and her cubs visited, showing their deep bond.
