The Forgotten King

On a rainy night, Emma, a humble dishwasher, saves Leon, a severely injured amnesiac man. Mistaking him for a destitute drifter, she makes him wash dishes to repay her and names him Johnny. Amnesiac Leon boasts exceptional fighting skills and grows deeply attached to Emma, instinctively protecting her from loan sharks and assassins time and again. A custom luxury watch uncovers Leon’s true identity: heir to *Crown of Shadows*, Europe’s underground financial syndicate, codenamed The King. His uncle Victor staged a car crash to erase his memory and seize power, while his betrothed Isabella, driven by jealousy, relentlessly hunts them both. Emma discovers ties between her mother’s fatal car crash five years ago and the two families’ feud and travels alone to Paris, Florence and Santorini for answers; Leon secretly guards her, plotting to take down the villains while repairing their fractured trust. After showdowns in underground fight rings, cooking contests, old castles and on rooftops, Victor and Isabella are arrested, witnesses come forward and the full truth of the crash is revealed. Leon gives up his enormous power, keeps their bet by working exclusively as Emma’s dishwasher, and the two open a late‑night diner in Brooklyn to embrace a simple, peaceful life.
