Tales of Humanoid Creatures

Mia finds a human lookalike of her husband Gavin at home. Gavin sends survival rules: these shape-shifting mimics eat humans for memories and can only be killed by fire. Trapped with no escape, Mia senses her father is a mimic when her parents visit — he craves raw meat and has broken memories. She lures the fake father to the countryside under a pretense of prayer and burns him. Back home, she spots oddities on her mother's fingers, hidden mimics in wall paintings, and realizes her "husband" is also a mimic. She fights back but gets time-frozen, fleeing to a hospital full of mimics. Just as all hope fades, the real Gavin arrives to stop time. He reveals mimics are spreading worldwide, covered up by authorities as a new virus, and the two join forces to fight the threat.
