To secure the inheritance, they drug Lin Shuang, forge a will, and throw her into an old well to stage an accident. Lin Shuang, on the verge of labor, clings to life at the bottom of the well using her survival skills. After her assistant, Song Haoran, sees through their scheme, he is kidnapped but manages to escape, confirming that Lin Shuang is still alive. At Jiang Ruoxi's succession ceremony, Lin Shuang returns covered in blood, exposes the conspiracy on the spot, and reclaims her business.
