Lena Brooks wakes up reborn after her boyfriend Lucas Hayes had her killed, blaming her for his mistress Fiona Parker's death. On a highway road trip, she relives the moment Fiona forces Lucas to stop in the passing lane. A van crashes trying to avoid them, trapping pregnant driver Sophie Reed. While Lucas and Fiona refuse to help and even plot to silence her, Lena smashes the window and saves Sophie—winning the protection of Sophie's powerful husband, Gavin Shaw. Lucas and Fiona get prison time, but Lucas escapes for revenge. With Gavin's help, Lena exposes the plot, puts Lucas behind bars for thirty years, and starts a new life.
