Misunderstanding Power Couple

When Vera Brown's half-sister Wendy is about to marry Steve Carter, the man who once pursued Vera for four years, her mother Mary Burke forces her into a fake marriage scheme. But Vera soon discovers she is already legally married… to Steve's fourth uncle, Robby Carter. Determined to uncover the truth, she approaches Robby, who suspects she's after the Carter family fortune. In their battle of wits, Robby uncovers two shocking truths: Vera was switched at birth and is the real heiress of the Brown family, and she is also the famed "Dr. Browne." As secrets unravel, love slowly grows between them.
