One-night stand Flash Marriage

Vera Carlton, tricked by her stepmother and stepsister, wakes up after a drunken night with Jack Edmunds. When she discovers they’ve been drugging her to gain weight, she vows to transform. A year later, a slimmed-down Vera crosses paths with Jack again due to a mix-up with their number tags. They enter a whirlwind marriage of convenience, only to find real feelings growing between them. Jack soon realizes she’s the woman he’s been searching for all along. Together, they build a life of happiness, while those who wronged them face the consequences they deserve.
