She Paid for My Daughter’s Silence. I Took Her Son’s Freedom.

Episode 1 / 33GoodShort1.5K

Revenge Secret Identity Strong Female Lead CEO Counterattack

"Evelyn was the founder and actual controlling owner of Evelis Group. After marriage, she retreated behind the scenes and supported her husband Daniel in taking the CEO position. Their daughter Aurelia was severely injured in a drunk-driving accident caused by Daniel’s illegitimate son Ryan. Daniel’s mistress Vanessa even took the black card Evelyn had given Daniel to the hospital, pressuring Evelyn to sign a letter of forgiveness in an attempt to buy off the crime with money. From clues such as the black card and the vehicle involved in the accident, Evelyn gradually exposed the twenty-year marriage scam Daniel had been running: he had fathered an illegitimate son with Vanessa before their marriage, and the real purpose of the marriage was to seize control of Evelis Group. Daniel repeatedly sided with his illegitimate son, using company resources to suppress news coverage, cutting off the victim’s treatment, granting ward access, and allowing Vanessa and her son to harm the severely injured daughter again and again. Suppressing her grief, Evelyn fought back step by step: she froze the accounts, publicly revealed her identity as founder, removed Daniel from his position, audited out evidence of five hundred million dollars in embezzled funds, and shattered Daniel’s schemes of forging equity agreements and framing others. In the end, the crimes of Daniel, Vanessa, and Ryan were completely exposed, and all three were convicted on multiple charges and sent to prison. After a life-and-death crisis, her daughter woke up and recovered. Evelyn established an independent victim assistance fund, fully reclaimed control of the company, and began a brand-new life with her daughter."
