A kind woman saves a white snake, who rewards her with wealth and warnings of danger. When a plague strikes, she uses a magic spring to save her ungrateful son and his family. However, the greedy son and daughter-in-law try to capture the snake for money and end up disabled. Goodness is rewarded, and evil is punished.
