Tempted by Dangerous Desires

Episode 1 / 51MeloShort7.1k

Born into poverty, Eileen takes a job at a casino to make ends meet, where she accidentally meets Alexander, a capital tycoon who controls the entertainment industry. To pay off a huge debt, she is forced to accept his contract and breaks into the glitzy yet treacherous upper-class entertainment circle as a newcomer. Alexander takes Eileen in initially only because she bears a striking resemblance to the late Eve — Eve was the beloved of his twin brother Leon, who was silenced by the head of the Falco family after uncovering their secrets of money laundering and transnational crimes. Alexander had intended to use Eileen to lure out the mastermind behind the murder, but he is gradually drawn to her resilience and develops genuine feelings as they spend time together. While fending off all kinds of frame-ups from the top star Sophia, Eileen secretly investigates Eve's cause of death, gradually uncovering the darkness lurking deep within the wealthy clan. Targeted by surveillance, abduction and assassination one after another, she and Alexander grow to love each other and fight side by side through countless life-and-death trials. Joining forces with Leon, who has been in exile for years, and key witnesses, they gather complete incriminating evidence, publicly expose all the family's crimes, bring the villains to justice, and also find Eve's surviving child. When the dust settles, Eileen rises from a lowly waitress to an international movie queen, and Alexander proposes to her in public. A dangerous relationship that began with calculation and desire ultimately transcends conspiracies and obstacles, evolving into a sincere love that has weathered countless storms.
