Episode 1 / 53MeloShort5.8k

Modern Family Anime Comeback Kickass Heroine

After being drugged and betrayed by her fiancé and best friend, Nora was delivered as a "gift" to Harrison, a feared New York mafia boss. Little did she know, this formidable figure was the very same adoptive father from whom she had been estranged for five years. On the night of their reunion, the fiancé, the best friend, and a scheming secretary who had betrayed her all faced a reckoning. Confronting the lingering pain of her mother's death, Nora challenged Harrison, only to discover that he had never stopped hunting the true culprit and had been seeking vengeance for her mother all along. When the Lawson family—the masterminds behind the tragedy—attempted a counterattack, Harrison personally ensured they were sent to prison. Upon learning the truth, Nora finally let go of her long-held resentment and reconciled with her adoptive father. She subsequently declined to inherit the family empire, choosing instead to open her own bakery and start a brand-new life.
