Ava married into the Blackwood werewolf clan, only to lose her husband, Noah, to a hunter’s trap when she was five months pregnant. For seven years, she endured the scorn of the entire pack while caring for her paralyzed mother-in-law, Eleanor. Upon the distribution of Eleanor’s estate, Ava received nothing but an old silver spoon—only to discover a hidden key and a note inside. With the help of an old friend of Eleanor’s, she learned that her mother-in-law had secretly founded the "Silver Moon Sisterhood," an underground organization protecting outcast supernatural beings with assets exceeding $18 million. Eleanor had bequeathed all rights and a survival fund to Ava; the years of coldness had merely been a ruse to deceive her own children. Ava transformed from a humiliated widow into the organization's new leader and uncovered the hunter's conspiracy behind her husband's death.
