To save her critically ill father and driven to desperation, the female protagonist chooses to marry the male protagonist, who is in a vegetative state. After the first night, he wakes up. Unable to afford raising the child she gives birth to, she secretly sends the baby back to the Fu family and applies to be a wet nurse to stay by the child's side. Later, her identity is exposed, but she is misunderstood by the male protagonist as a gold-digger. Even so, facing numerous crises, the male protagonist willingly backs her up with dominance and pampers her more and more. After the misunderstandings are cleared up, the two connect heart and soul, achieve a happy ending, and reap a sweet, successful life.
