Mother-in-law sleeps on the wedding bed

Episode 1 / 40MoboReels

On the day of the wedding, my mother-in-law donned a traditional Chinese wedding headdress and clung to my husband's neck, playfully declaring she couldn't bear to part with him. That night, after the guests had left, she insisted on staying in the bridal suite herself and sleeping with my husband. Unable to tolerate a man overly influenced by his mother, I asked for a divorce. To my surprise, my mother-in-law, hands on her hips, smugly replied, "You want a divorce? Fine, but return the bride price—a traditional dowry-like payment—and compensate our family with an additional half a million." I agreed willingly, and turning away, handed her fifty thousand in paper money used in Chinese funerary traditions.
