Royal court Contract lovers Political intrigue

1 year ago, Mia was reincarnated to be a high-ranking human stuck in a Faerie world and married to a Fae general. But her husband has just brought home a mistress, and Mia is... THRILLED! This means she can divorce him and really start living, right? Wrong. Their marriage was blessed by the king himself, and he will be insulted if she proposes a divorce; he's known to be incredibly ruthless and heartless. But when they arrive in court to plead their case, Mia witnesses King Cyril using black magic to make himself stronger: she wants to benefit from strength and immunity as well, so she purposefully binds her blood to his. Now, the two are linked: if one dies, so will the other. Through their many blood-strengthening rituals, Mia and Cyril fall into a deep respect for one another, and he vows to protect her, regardless of the spell or not. Now unexpectedly united, they must unmask and destroy the dark powers plotting to kill Cyril and seize his throne, all while fighting for their lives and their hearts.
