Seventeen-year-old Adrian is teetering on the brink of being cut from the youth academy, constantly ostracized and mocked by his teammates. Starting with abysmally low overall stats, he gradually hones his shooting, pace, dribbling and defensive skills by completing system quests time and again. His archrival Marcus repeatedly picks on him, sets traps and schemes behind his back, yet Adrian turns the tide time after time with crucial tackles, last-minute winners and hat-tricks. He earns a trial spot, signs his first professional contract, breaks into the first team and firmly locks down a starting position.
