Mars suffers from severe water scarcity. Genius engineer Alex develops an iceberg towing technology. He rescues Tanzia, who hides her identity as Mars Queen. Their ship is destroyed by space pirates, forcing them to flee in one escape pod and grow fond of each other. Alex proposes, but Tanzia turns him down on false grounds. Revealing her royal status later, she finds her fiancé Sam infected by alien parasites and slays him, exposing the Zerg invasion. As a general, Tanzia teams up with parasite-resistant Alex and mercenary Wren to infiltrate the underground hive. Wren sacrifices himself to cover them. Tanzia defeats the Zerg Queen and blows up the hive. They narrowly escape the collapsing base. After the catastrophe, they set aside all misunderstandings and vow to rebuild ravaged Mars side by side.
