Near-sighted wildlife vet Ivy Morgan only meant to save an injured deer on a stormy night. Instead, she stumbles into Black Pines, a secret facility built to contain supernatural creatures. When armed guards prepare to shoot Alpha Zero, the most dangerous werewolf alive, Ivy sees only one thing: a wounded giant husky who needs help.
She treats his wounds, feeds him medicine, and even puts him in a cone of shame. Everyone expects her to die. Instead, the Alpha King goes quiet for the first time in years.
