Underground casino owner Celeste is pushed out by her family, and her mother’s death remains a mystery. Three years ago, she slept with a broke boxer named Lucian, who now reappears in her life as her assistant. He pretends to be poor, miserable, and loyal, but in reality, he’s the heir of the Black family, secretly clearing obstacles for her, splashing money to make her famous, and even taking bullets for her. Through testing, scheming, and intense flirtation, the two join forces to tear apart their enemies and uncover the truth behind her mother’s death. Celeste gradually opens up from her emotional trauma, and Lucian grows from the 'dumped prey' into a protector willing to put his life in her hands. This is a three-year-long hunt for revenge mixed with love, and a mutual redemption for two broken souls.
