Chloe, a college student, unexpectedly becomes the stepsister of Adrian, an Alpha werewolf and professor at Sunset University, after her mother remarries. Upon their first meeting, golden markings—signs of fated mates—appear on both of them. Yet their bond is immediately besieged by numerous obstacles: Chloe’s gold-digging, selfish mother; Adrian’s father, who opposes human-werewolf unions due to old injuries that cost him his own wolf nature; Victor, the Alpha of the rival “Thunderclaw Clan,” plotting their downfall; and Vivian, daughter of the “Wildblood Clan” Alpha, repeatedly using witchcraft to sow discord. To protect Chloe, Adrian chooses cold detachment—leaving her to grow through heartbreak and misunderstanding.Crisis erupts when Victor murders Lucius and kidnaps Chloe. Witnessing her mother’s death as Victor’s spy, Chloe awakens her dormant werewolf powers in a surge of rage. At that moment, her long-lost father James reappears—he is the Alpha of the “Frostfang Clan,” who had sealed Chloe’s true nature years earlier to shield her from clan warfare. Chloe is, in fact, a pure-blooded werewolf bearing the royal Alpha-king bloodline. In the end, Chloe exposes Victor’s crimes using his own fang as evidence, leading to his trial and downfall. Adrian proposes, and Chloe is crowned Luna—the Moon Goddess’s consort—in front of the united clans, pregnant with their child.
