English Synopsis:
Branded as impure and offered to the dying Moon Tree, half-blood elf Aylea is forced into a nine-night trial in the Forbidden Forest. There she finds Lowen, the lover she believed dead—alive, cold, and serving as the royal executioner. Each believes the other chose the court that destroyed them.
When the Moon Tree binds their blood and makes them share every wound, escape becomes impossible. Hunted by Saint Selena, Carlan, and the Regent’s assassins, Aylea discovers the royal mark in her palm. The trial was never meant to choose an heir; it was built to awaken her blood, steal her power, and bury the old throne’s crimes.
With her mother running out of time, Aylea must master the Moon Crown, expose the court’s bloodline lies, and choose whether Lowen can stand beside her.
