Kind-hearted Julia shares a passionate night with wealthy heir Dalton Rudd — their identities hidden behind carnival masks. But jealousy changes everything. Determined to escape poverty and secure a rich future for herself and her unborn child, Madison secretly steals Julia’s place the next morning, destroying the only proof of Julia’s connection to Dalton.
Soon after, Madison announces she’s pregnant — and engaged to Dalton.
Heartbroken and abandoned, Julia discovers she is pregnant too. Choosing loyalty over love, she hides the truth and raises her son alone, silently watching her former best friend live the life that was meant to be hers.
Seven years later, fate brings them together again.
