Urban life Sudden wealth Friends to lovers

Drew worked six months of night shifts at a gas station, saving up to buy his girlfriend a birthday necklace — only to catch her kissing a rich heir at a fancy restaurant! The necklace is smashed in his face as he's publicly humiliated: "This cheap garbage costs less than a single appetizer!" That same night, in a pouring rain, he helps an old lady with a flat tire — free of charge. She hands him a "thank-you lottery ticket" as a gift. Two hundred million dollars. He doesn't leave. He doesn't show off. Under a fake name, he buys up the entire downtown strip — a bar, restaurants, boutiques — all so he can wait for the people who humiliated him to walk in and burn their money. The rich heir swipes eighty thousand at his suit shop, another hundred and forty thousand at the boutique — every single charge becomes damning evidence. His ex-girlfriend drools over a poster of the mysterious tycoon, never guessing the waiter wiping down the table right next to her is the man himself. When the rich heir forces him to kneel in front of the whole town, Drew swallows it. But the moment FBI cuffs click onto the rich heir's wrists at the grand celebration — the one begging on his knees is the man who once stood on top of him. "You thought you were testing a dog. But you never even touched a single hair on my head."
