He silently protects Juliet, who suffers from bullying. After revealing his whereabouts while intervening in an incident, he teams up with Kain and Irene to fend off relentless pursuit.
Juliet is abducted, driving the group deep into an underground hunting ground for a brutal battle. Following the final showdown, the two achieve symbiotic coexistence, only to be injected with a slow-acting toxin by their adversaries.
In the end, the pair stay side by side atop a mountain. They pass away peacefully facing the sunset, vowing to reunite across the tides of time.
