The Black family is one of the most powerful century-old wealthy clans on the East Coast, with industries spanning finance, real estate and shipping. The only heir of the family, Adric Black, was caught in a shipwreck three years ago and presumed dead. All the family inheritance belonged to his posthumous child, managed by the child’s mother Vivian. Vivian used to be Adric’s secret lover. Relying on their child, she transformed from an unknown mistress into the actual controller of the Black family. Three years later, Adric returns alive, yet he has lost all his memories, accompanied by the person who saved his life.
