Keno Blake, a police officer, is selected to go undercover and infiltrate the Costa family. During his mission, he falls in love with and marries Raye Costa, the family’s young heiress. Yet for the sake of his assignment, the male protagonist still has Raye’s father, Matteo Costa, imprisoned. Tragically, Matteo gets shot and killed while resisting arrest.
