Michael, a former top assassin for the ICA, failed in an attempt to assassinate the wealthy tycoon Sal three years ago; his sister, Ava, lost her life at Sal's villa while trying to save him. Since then, Michael has lived in obscurity, drifting aimlessly. He eventually crosses paths with sisters Jenny and Gwen—Jenny bearing a striking resemblance to Ava—and begins to protect Jenny from the shadows, hoping to find some measure of redemption. However, when Gwen becomes the target of a wealthy young man named Frank’s sinister designs, Jenny finds herself in danger as well; Michael arrives just in time to rescue them both. During this ordeal, he encounters Richard, a former fellow assassin who invites him to rejoin the ICA—an offer Michael declines. Just as Michael prepares to settle down and live a quiet life with Jenny and Gwen, the ICA accepts a contract from Sal to procure a heart for his wife—and Jenny’s heart happens to be a perfect match. Michael battles through countless enemies to rescue Jenny, ultimately uncovering the true reason behind his failed assassination attempt years earlier and avenging his sister, Ava.
