Every year, the border town sacrifices young girls to the "evil dragon." Irene, daughter of the blacksmith Kyle, is framed by nobles and chosen. Unbeknownst to many, this silent blacksmith is actually the Dragon King, missing for eighteen years. To save his daughter, Kyle gradually reveals his sealed dragon power—melting iron gates, controlling swords, and transforming into a true dragon. He investigates from the border town to the holy city, from the ducal mansion to the royal palace, uncovering a shocking conspiracy that has lasted for years: the so-called "evil dragon's revenge" is merely a lie fabricated by the royal family and the church; the true purpose is to extract the blood of young girls to feed the Blood Crown, control the dragon, and forge weapons to slay dragons. The tyrant Osment sacrifices the entire nation's young girls, attempting to enslave the dragons forever. Kyle and Irene join forces, fighting their way from the border town square to the royal palace, rescuing countless imprisoned girls and publicly exposing all the crimes. Ultimately, the sacrificial law is abolished, and humans and dragons sign a new pact of equality. The dragon crown was restored to its original state, but the Dragon King turned back to the blacksmith's shop—more than the throne, he wanted to be a father who cooked soup for his daughter.
