Mara Vale was the Nine‑Tailed White Fox lineage, until her ex‑husband and her fraudulent fox rival conspired to seal her tails. Publicly disgraced, she became a discarded fox reduced to a single tail.
She turned away and entered the court of Darius Blackthorne, the Black Fox King. Drawing upon his dark fox sorcery, forbidden moon‑fire magic, and their dangerously charged romance, she strikes back to destroy her former lover and her old clan.
As the seals binding her tails fracture and her genuine royal bloodline emerges, she aims to reclaim far more than the throne. She hungers for the raw satisfaction of seeing her whole clan fall to their knees and beg for atonement.
