At 24, Ah Hua is tough and resilient. To pay off the crushing debts left by her parents, she spends day after day scrubbing pots at her family’s humble curry stall. But her quiet life is shattered by her greedy older sister Rina and her arrogant ex-boyfriend Mark. Not only do they humiliate her mercilessly in public, they also force her to bring a wealthy, high-status date to Rina’s “wedding of the century”—or they will take away the curry stall she depends on for her livelihood. With nowhere left to turn, Ah Hua makes a desperate gamble. She spends 10,000 baht to hire Apu, an antisocial motorcycle taxi driver, to pose as her trillionaire fiancé. But what Ah Hua never expects is that this seemingly down-and-out motorcycle driver, hiding in plain sight among ordinary people, really is the current chairman of Weisheng Group. And the only reason he has concealed his identity and wandered through the streets as an ordinary driver is because, in a city overflowing with lies and hypocrisy, he has been searching for something he has not felt in a very long time—purity and genuine love.
