Episode 1 / 63SodaReels

Feng Qin, a gastric cancer expert, is reborn back to the early stages of pregnancy and is determined to make up for the mistake of accidentally killing her daughter Gu Yuyan in her previous life due to misunderstanding. Meanwhile, 18-year-old Gu Yuyan is reborn as the young girl Lin Xiaoan, approaching Feng Qin with the resentment from her previous life and attempting to prevent her own birth. Feng Qin withstands the pressure of the Gu family's preference for sons over daughters to protect the fetus, while Lin Xiaoan secretly sabotages but gradually wavers. After their identities are revealed, the Gu family attempts arson and murder, and Lin Xiaoan sacrifices herself to save her mother, resulting in burns. Mother and daughter reconcile. Feng Qin persists in giving birth to the child, and during a difficult labor, she bids farewell to her adult daughter's soul. As the newborn cries, Gu Yuyan's obsession dissipates with her soul, leaving behind new life and redemption.
