Selene, an orphaned werewolf, flees her abusive pack with her younger brother to work and study in Ashfall City. She is saved by the mysterious Professor Kyle during an attack. Bound by fated pheromones, they sign a body contract but gradually fall in genuine love. Kyle brings her home to Thornwood Manor to meet his family. To force Selene into a business marriage, Kyle’s father Victor fabricates a recording to convince her she is only a plaything, then banishes her overnight. Selene discovers her pregnancy and leaves with her brother for Moonharbour. Five years later, she returns as a powerful corporate executive with her young son, only to find Kyle has become a manipulated puppet Alpha with a forced wife. After reuniting, Kyle reveals the full truth of the past five years, risking his life to protect her and reconcile with his son. Together, they overthrow Victor, the Nightshade vampire clan and the Hawthorne family, reclaim their werewolf pack, and finally reunite their family.
